You keep the copyright to your work. Creating a Smart AI Book does not hand your book to AI, or to us.
Your Smart AI Book lives on our platform and web address. We host it, run the reader checkout through Stripe, send you your payouts, and give you a report every month. It can stay hosted with us indefinitely, or you can close it after the first year. Your book, your copyright, and your Amazon listings, accounts, and Amazon royalties stay in your name.
The Companion is built from your book and anything else you choose to give us, and it stays within the boundaries you set. For some books we keep it close to your exact words, where that precision matters, like a how-to book. For others it can range more widely across your ideas. Its job is to help a reader spend more time with your work and engage more deeply with your ideas.
You approve the experience before it goes live, and we keep refining it with you until it's right.
Your manuscript is stored securely and used only to build your own book's Companion. We never use it for anything outside your project without your written consent, and we never use it to train public AI.
The full 12-month program is valued at $7,200. You pay $3,600 upfront. The remaining $3,600 is recovered by A&A from SAB book sales. Your maximum out-of-pocket is $3,600.
A&A takes the loss. You do not owe the shortfall, and you will not receive another invoice. Your responsibility stops at the $3,600 upfront.
The program runs for a 12-month term. The $3,600 upfront is non-refundable once work begins, because we start building your SAB and researching your readers right away.
No. SAB becomes another part of your publishing ecosystem and can lead readers to your Amazon formats. Your Amazon book stays in place.
Yes. You retain the copyright to your work. Creating a Smart AI Book does not transfer ownership to A&A.
No. The Companion helps readers engage with your work, in your voice and within the boundaries you set. You approve the experience before it goes live.
No. Reader response cannot honestly be guaranteed. What we control is building your SAB, researching the audience, running the individualized outreach, and reporting the activity to you.
No. We research individuals who match your book's reader avatar and build each introduction around a genuine connection to your subject.
SAB sales are direct purchases made through your SAB's own checkout, and only those count toward recovering the remaining $3,600. Amazon and other-channel sales are not SAB sales and do not count. Net SAB sales means gross sales minus actual costs only: payment and processing fees and AI token charges, with no marketing markup. After the $3,600 is recovered, net SAB sales split 80% to you and 20% to A&A. A&A takes no share of your ordinary Amazon royalties. Full terms are in your SAB Author Agreement.

Readers experience your book through a guided interface, not a downloadable file. No online experience can make copying impossible, and we don't claim otherwise. Book a call and we walk through your book together. If it's a fit, we spend the first 1 to 2 months building your Smart AI Book, then 10 to 11 months introducing it to your readers, with a report every month.
